  • This is a combination of breathwork + meditation designed to provide single pointed focus.

    Terri’s birth experience is a direct result of regular breathwork and meditation, which allowed her first birth to be efficient in labour time, with no pain relief or interventions.

    Breathwork (Pranayama) is the practice of breath regulation. It's a main component of yoga, an exercise for physical and mental wellness. In Sanskrit, “prana” means life energy and “yama” means control.

    Ancient yogis knew that yogic deep breathing exercises (pranayama) influence the mind, and vitality of our nervous system in the body. A simple statement "The mind governs prana and prana governs the mind — they are the two sides of the same coin."

  • A four week practice LIVE online.

    This will be an opportunity to practice breathwork together and relax into meditation. A brief discussion will be held to honour what is present, and sharing yogic philosophies to gain a greater understanding of the experience.

  • It is important to do safe breathwork practices for pregnancy and be guided in real time and gain feedback.

    During pregnancy we can find ourselves in various states and degrees of not being in harmony and balance with our mind-body-spirit. This is common and we can find grace for ourselves in big life transitions such as motherhood.

    These states can create anxiety (worrying about the future) and depression (concerned about the past) and remuniting over genuine concerns that ultimately may not be helpful. It is also important because resistance can occur in the mind when the body is growing to meet our changing body.

    These practices will help, cultivate an inner trust with yourself, create stability in your mind, and body, and enhance your capacity to listen to your authentic self. It will also be very helpful to guide you through the early stages of labour and minimise the 'threat' of pain.
